Auka Lika Creations

Neurdovergent Art

About Us

Meet Erika (KatraQueen) and Nyssa (Fluffy Worm), a dynamic mother-daughter duo passionate about neurodivergent art. With Ecuadorian roots and backgrounds in early childhood education in Fairbanks Alaska, we blend our experiences and art to craft inspiring resources. Step into our vibrant world of creativity and connection!

Our Story

Welcome to Auka Lika Creations, where we celebrate neurodivergence with deep roots.

We are a mother-daughter duo, educators by vocation, and proudly autistic women with ADHD. At Auka Lika, we don’t just create art and books; we share a unique way of existing and processing the world.

Our brand is born from the union of two Quechua concepts that define our journey and our perspective:

1. We are Auka: The Warrior Spirit

For us, being Auka is not about seeking conflict, but about embodying resistance. Navigating a world designed for linear minds is an act of rebellion. We reclaim our right to be different, to learn at our own pace, and to transform the perceived chaos of ADHD into an inexhaustible creative force.

2. We are Lika: The Vision that Connects

The autistic mind is a Lika—a complex, beautiful network of details that others often overlook. We possess the ability to look deep (Likay). Through our art and our words, we weave networks of support for families and children who, like us, perceive reality in a vibrant, nuanced, and transparent way.

Our Mission

Our goal is to transform early education through genuine empathy. We believe that neurodiversity is not something to be "corrected," but a talent to be cultivated. Through our creations, we provide self-help tools and educational resources designed to respect and honor the unique essence of every child.

Auka Lika Creations: Brave minds, connecting visions.
